HMH Recently Received $2,500 from United Airlines Trust Fund Grant

September 20, 2010

Horn Memorial Hospital recently received $2,500 from the United Airlines Trust Fund Grant to purchase three EMS radios. "These radios will greatly help improve communication with all local fire and ambulance personnel as well as with the local communications center and Mercy Air Care. In the event of power failure or a mass casualty event, we are confident that our communication will not be compromised." comments Jenni Sohm, Hospital Preparedness Coordinator. Horn Memorial received the three EMS radios in late August. They have been programmed and are currently in use.
