Horn Memorial Hospital Celebrates National Volunteer Week

April 18 - 24 is National Volunteer Week, and in celebration of this, Horn Hospice honored their volunteers with an appreciation dinner on Tuesday April 13th.

Our volunteers understand that every person they care for is a unique individual with a lifetime of experiences, relationships and gifts to share. It is estimated that hospice care volunteers contribute more than 25 million hours of service annually. Helping people live every moment of life to the fullest and providing loved ones with memories they can treasure is a passion shared by hospice volunteers. National Volunteer Week provides the opportunity to recognize the contributions of caring hospice volunteers and raises awareness of the benefits of hospice.
