24 Hour Emergency Room

Horn Memorial Hospital offers a fully staffed Emergency Room, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All patients are welcome, regardless of their ability to pay.

Our state-of-the-art Emergency Room includes two trauma bays, four private exam rooms, and three private infusion rooms. To ensure patient privacy, the ER features a dedicated entrance separate from the hospital’s main entrance. Convenient, reserved parking spaces are also available for ER patients.

Certified as a Level IV Community Trauma Care Facility in the state of Iowa, our Emergency Department is equipped to handle a wide range of urgent medical needs. Our highly trained ER staff is committed to providing expert, compassionate care for trauma and emergency patients.

In the event of an emergency, residents are reminded to always call 9-1-1 first.
