Importance of Health

According to Webster's Dictionary, health is a noun defined as a condition of being well or free from disease. The World Health Organization (WHO) defined health in 1946 as "a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity" The word "health" comes from the English word "hale" meaning wholeness, being whole, sound or well. I start the article this way because it's important to know what health means; and what health means to you.
